The Funky Divas and Dudes had a blast at Zoe’s 6th birthday party at Roxbury Park in Beverly Hills. Twenty-five boys and girls attended her 80’s themed Rockstar Party. This was Zoe’s second birthday in a row with us and we could not have been more excited to celebrate with this cool kid. Zoe is also a part of our after-school enrichment program where she learns hip-hop in the dance class we offer at her school. It’s easy to say, she has stolen our hearts over the years!
Zoe’s 80’s Rockstar Bash
We started off getting all the mini pop and rockstars decked out for the occasion with cheek art and hair color. The kids were not the only ones dressed up for the theme party. Parents came decked out too! There was no shortage of blue eye shadow or side ponytails. The birthday girl wore big sparkly lightning bolt earrings and all the kids sported 80s sunglasses and snap bracelets.
The next part of this Los Angeles dance party was for the Funky Divas and Dudes to teach a personalized dance routine for their big performance. These little Rockstars danced to “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper. They put on an impressive performance for their parents and ended with some Rockin’ Dance Games with giveaways to keep; glitter microphones, maracas, tinsel wands, and disco ball necklaces.
We absolutely adored seeing these kids let their inner rockstars shine. Don’t we all wish we could let loose with a child-like inhibition?
