What a beautiful time of year it is! The weather is starting to warm up, and wildlife outside is blooming. There is nothing better than going to a Carnival in this beautiful season. The Santa Monica Synagogue and Temple Beth Shir Shalom are having a community Purim Carnival on Sunday March 4th from 11am to 3pm. The carnival will take place on 18th Street, between Broadway and Santa Monica Blvd.
The Purim Carnival
They close the street and have a variety of food trucks, games, activities and prizes. It will be the perfect occasion for families with little ones, or for just anyone who is looking to have a fun time!
Funky Divas & Dudes is a sponsor for this wonderful Santa Monica community event, and we will have a booth with funky hair color and glitter cheek art. These activities are always a hit for kids of all ages. Who doesn’t want funky hair and glitter face paint?! Not only will we have the booth, but at 12:30 we will get a group of kids together to teach and perform a dance routine on stage. Come join us and be a Rockstar!
Giving Back to the Community
At Funky Divas & Dudes, we try to give back as much as we can. We will be donating an Auction Gift Certificate for a Funky Divas & Dudes Performing Arts Spring break or Summer camp. We will also be donating an Auction Gift Certificate for a Funky Divas & Dudes Popstar Birthday Party! Our goal is to make children in our community feel loved, confident, and appreciated! We will also be giving away a Funky Divas Rock Tank and a Funky Dudes T-shirt.
The Purim Carnival is a great way to celebrate the Santa Monica community. What a fun weekend event for the whole family! Stop by our fun funky booth and say, “hi”!
