We are beyond honored to have been a part of the Iverbe Day and Sports Camp again this year! We’ve been working together for over five years now, and each one just gets better and better. This year, we hosted three weeks of dance summer camp in July at the Willows Community School and one week at Palisades High School. If you have a little one that loves to express themselves through dance, this camp is perfect for them! While we do tons of fun activities throughout the day, three hours out of the camp day are dedicated entirely to Funky Divas and Dudes dance camp.
Personalized Dance Fun
We have two groups, ages four through six, and ages seven and up. Each group works individually with a dance instructor on their own personalized routine. And we do one giant group dance routine as well! Our favorite part of summer camp is the amazing show on the last day of the week to show off all the new moves the campers have learned. Our routines are custom made for this camp, by our amazing instructors to the most current music and of course some classic favorites. All of our instructors are working dance professionals with tons of real-life dance experience. This camp helps children develop and hone basic dance skills as well as challenges them to learn more and try new things. Working as a team, coordination, balance, memory, and choreography are some of the skills they work on. Not to mention meeting awesome kids their age and developing lifelong friendships.
Performing for friends and family help them overcome fears, gain confidence, improve social skills and shine with the support of the people they trust. Essentially, you can sum our entire camp up into one word…Our number one rule: have fun!!!
